Good morning, afternoon, or evening wherever you are when you're reading this. It's currently a beautiful and bright Sunday morning. It's quiet and peaceful, and all I can think about is how proud I am for myself and the little milestones I make.

This going to be a little celebration post for myself, because too often I only focus on the traits I need to work on myself and end up bringing myself down.

The beginning on my 2023 has come with no breaks. It was full speed, no stop this past week. For the first time though in a really long time, that actually didn't break me. It didn't put me into a depressive episode or force me to drown. Coming out of this week, I feel happy and content. I'm excited for the week to come, even if it's going to be a little stressful. This past has included a lot of interactions with people. On Tuesday, I got to see my friend for the last time for few months before she left for her spring semester on Friday. It started with few bumps in the road with the planning, but everything worked out in the end, and I had a great time. Wednesday was a big day. I had the amazing opportunity to meet a friend who I have been talking to for seven months now (I just had to look back at our messages to see how long.) It's so crazy that our meeting has been in the works for that long, but it was well worth it. I got to model for the first time ever which was super fun (very lowkey, very enjoyable.) The pictures came out amazing. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and that love in the pictures she takes. Afterwards, we made dinner and started to watch Notting Hill. Overall, it was a day to remember and I'm excited to cherish it. Then moving on to the last three days this week. Those days were filled of singing, and more singing, and even more singing. I had my last County Chorus the past three days, and I loved it. The songs were absolutely beautiful, and I made a few new friends along the way. I also did somehow get sick over the first night, so that was inconvenient, but I could still sing.

Anyways, this week was a great start to 2023. I'm excited to see what it holds, and the ups and downs that's going to come with it. I'm getting stronger and making milestones. I'm proud of how far I've come.

Until next time,

Your hopeful stranger
